Extraordinary moment 'dead' roadkill deer gives cops a fright - by jumping out of car trunk. A motorist and two police officers were given the fright of their lives on a traffic stop this morning when they opened a car trunk and a supposedly dead deer hopped out.

The Michigan driver told officers he had accidentally hit and killed the deer with his car on a nearby road.

He put it into his trunk intending to later use the meat and eat the animal when he parked at the Red Roof Inn, Kalamazoo, around 2.20am. However, when police officers approached the man and he explained what had happened, they asked to check the animal was properly accounted for.

It was then the deer made it plain it had other plans.

After a momentary pause, the wild animal jumps to life and hops out the trunk attempting to make a run for it - all caught on the police car dash-cam.

Although not dead, the young deer is clearly startled and soon stumbles over in its bid to avoid the dinner plate.

But eventually it does escape making it into wooded area behind the hotel.

Police described the unnamed motorist, who was a local, as 'lost for words' following the incident.

He clearly didn't injure the animal as much as he thought.

According to Kalamazoo authorities Michigan has two million deer and every year more than 60,000 are killed by cars.

Motorists can keep the meat but must report the incident and get written authorization.

Bien vu j'avais chercher avec Cerf + Coffre / Deer + Trunk / Cerf + Prank / Cerf + Blague et je n'avais pas penser à "biche" :oops: . J'ai édité la vidéo pour que ceux qui voudrait la version "TV news".

En même temps, je suppose que c'est une biche de par sa taille, mais je n'en suis pas sûr non plus. :-?
